Week 5 Discussion-In what ways can the informal organization and its’ culture affect the managment of a healthcare organization?
The informal organization and accompanying culture have an effect on the successful management of any organization. Managerial functions to be covered later in the semester such as managing change and leading are also influenced by the formal and informal culture present. Using an organization with which you have some familiarity (does not have to be in healthcare) discuss in 1-2 paragraphs various ways in which the informal organization may affect management activities. Please provide specific examples to support your analysis.
