The first was Minneapolis where they cut $1.1 million from the police budget. New York City cut $1 billion from their police budget, Los Angeles cut $150 million and Seattle cut $23 million from their police budgets. Since then, a number of these cities have changed their stance and added funding back to the police agencies.
