Speech #2 informative, researched speech about the culture, communication behaviors, and current events of a certain country. Note: The country must be other than the USA or Canada and you must never have lived there. Speeches that lack proper citations will start at HALF CREDIT, so it’s crucial that you learn this information. Please make sure you are READING THE INSTRUCTIONS and not just downloading the example and overwriting it. The assignment has changed slightly since the example was created (the main point topics) though the example is still great in terms of how to write an outline, structure the content, and integrate sources.
- Choose a country where you have never lived. ( I have lived in Nigerian and USA)
- The country must be on the List of Countries provided in the assignment.
- The country must be found on the Geert Hofstede countries comparison website (https://www.hofstede-insights.com/product/compare-countries/).
- Many times students write an outline for a country that does not fall in one or more of these parameters. In that case, you will receive a 0 on the assignment and have to write a whole new outline before next week. Please be diligent in your attention to detail when choosing a country.
