The required reading for this week consists of one article written in 1996 by business guru Michael Porter and one written by Collis and Rukstad in 2008. In your post, discuss whether or not you think their comments and conclusions about strategy execution still apply. Is explaining a business strategy the same today? Has the answer to what is strategy changed due to technologies that have been growing exponentially, or are the basics of what these authors say about strategy essentially the same with new tools to use?
