Fantastic post for this week. The novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has created a great deal of scientific interest across a variety of fields. I find it admirable that you have chosen to focus on those who live in rural areas. One complication comes to mind however. According to Gravetter and Forzano (2019), a major methodological concern within the experimental method of research is that of participant drop-out, better known as arttrican. The authors stated that attrition can jeopardize the internal validity of a research design if sample sizes become overly disproportionate. My question to you is, how can researchers retain participants specifically in rural areas?
