Peer Discussion

I chose option 1 for the discussion this week. I picked the molecule aspirin (C9H8O4). Aspirin is one the most used drugs in healthcare and can be rapidly absorbed from stomach and small intestine (Goldberg, 2009). It is used to treat pain, inflammation and reduce risk of blood clots. Aspirin is also an important drug because it can be used to reduce risk of myocardial infraction or stroke.
